01WIRE DRAWINGDrawing process involves pulling the wire through progressively smaller dies under tension untilit reaches the desired diame- ter.These dies increase the wire's length while reducing its diameter.Metal wire drawn from 5.5mm to 0.8mm use powdered lubricant,while drawn from 0.8mm to 0.011mm use water-soluble lubricating oil.02WIRE ANNEALINGAnnealing process is one type of heat-treat method to increase its flexibility and ductility.This process includes heating the wire to a specific temperature and then cooling it slowly.This process alters the wire's physical properties to make the wire softer,more malleable,and easier to work.Cleaning is necessary for thick wire before annealing.

01Warping ProcessEach spool of metal wire is neatly arranged on the warp creel, which can hold up to 500 spools at a time. The weight of each spool is carefully selected to ensure uniform and consistent tension throughout the process. During warping, the longitudinal (warp) wires are precisely aligned and wound onto the warp beam, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent weaving stage.02Drawing-in sectionThe pre-prepared warp beam is delivered to the drawing-in section, where the process is carried out off the loom to minimize changeover time and maximize machine availability. This step demands exceptional skill from the operators, who must work with great concentration and precision to manually guide each individual wire through the heddle eyes and reeds, ensuring continuous and accurate alignment.The finer the mesh, the greater the difficulty of the drawing-in process. Both drawing-in and reed threading must adhere to zero-tolerance standards-a single misplaced wire could require hours of rework.03WeavingAfter the drawing-in is completed, the warp beam is lifted onto the weaving machine, passing through the tying-in process before entering the weaving stage. Most of Bashan’s weaving equipment consists of CNC-controlled looms, ensuring maximum mesh accuracy and uniformity. Our weaving workshops have been specially upgraded to maintain stable temperature and humidity throughout the year. The workshop dedicated to producing ultrafine meshes is additionally equipped with air filtration systems.As a principal drafter of national standards in China, Bashan has refined its weaving techniques over more than 70 years of experience. Our ultrafine plain weave meshes can reach up to 640 mesh count-a level that represents both a significant technical challenge and a demonstration of Bashan’s advanced specialization in metal mesh manufacturing.04CleaningSome customers require a high level of surface cleanliness for their mesh products. To meet these requirements, an additional cleaning process is applied when the mesh is ordered. Bashan employs proven cleaning techniques that ensure the mesh remains free of creases and is not adversely affected in any way. Our cleaning process is also more environmentally friendly.

01Manufacturing Process of Sintered Filtration MaterialsBashan is equipped with advanced vacuum sintering furnaces and a complete production line for filtration materials, covering the full range from multi-layer sintered mesh and metal fiber sintered felt to finished filter elements. ◆Material Preparation & Layering High-quality stainless steel wire mesh and fiber felt are carefully selected and stacked according to design requirements. A typical five-layer sintered mesh includes protection, filtration, dispersion, and support layers — combining high strength with precise filtration performance.◆Vacuum Sintering Process Under a high-temperature vacuum environment, metallic bonding occurs through atomic diffusion, fusing the multiple layers into a single, integral structure. This process ensures excellent mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, while maintaining optimal permeability and filtration accuracy.02/ Post-Processing & Filter Element FabricationThe sintered materials are cut, rolled, welded, and assembled into filter cartridges, discs, and elements of various specifications. These products are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and aerospace industries.
